On the subject of Upgrade

• Jens Tinfors: funny thing is that when you install 08 it overwrites all the iLife apps except iMovie which the installer saves away in a paralell folder
• Jens Tinfors: i guess they realized that people would want to keep the old version
• Erwin Harkink: weird
• Erwin Harkink: you have 2 iMovie versions now?
• Jens Tinfors: no, i've installed leopard on my comp and iLife08 on top of that so the iLife06 version is gone..
• Jens Tinfors: i installed from scratch
• Jens Tinfors: upgrades are for wuzzies ;-)

• Jens Tinfors: but so i've downloaded final cut and will give that a try
• Erwin Harkink: I always forget somethin important
• Erwin Harkink: so you don't like iMovie?
• Jens Tinfors: well, i have a house rule that says that anything that i havn't used for three months goes out the window
• Jens Tinfors: that way i keep my closet clean
• Jens Tinfors: i apply that same rule to my laptop :-)
• Jens Tinfors: out with the old, in with the new
• Jens Tinfors: (and then i end up spending hours scrounging the net for all the apps and plugins i miss...)
